Jeanne Schibel Gross Jeanne Schibel Gross, age 97, passed away in the home of her son and daughter-in-law, with her family at her side. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 in the Bauman- Cron Funeral Home Chapel, 516 S. 1st Street, Virginia, MN. Rabbi Amy Bernstein officiated. Interment will follow in the Range Hebrew Cemetery in Virginia. A Gathering was held at Don & Judy’s home on Friday evening at 7 p.m. Shiva began Saturday, March 6th at 7 p.m. in Don & Judy’s home in Virginia. Shiva was also held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7th at the Knollwood Place Apartments, 3630 Phillips Parkway, St. Louis Park, MN. The family wishes memorials be directed to SMDC East Range Hospice or the Shalom Alliance. Family Services were provided by Bauman-Cron, A Bauman Family Funeral Home in Virginia. She was born August 25, 1912 in Gilbert, MN the daughter of Abraham and Tilly Rubenstein, the youngest of five children. She grew up in Gilbert and attended Gilbert Schools. She married Howard Schibel of Virginia. Jeanne and Howard worked together at the Palace Clothing where she founded the Palace Clothing Ladies Boutique. She also managed Jarmin’s Ladies Apparel for a time. Jeanne was active in many organizations. After Howard’s death, she married Leo Gross and they lived in Edina and Tel Aviv, Israel. Jeanne is survived by sons: Don (Judy) Schibel of Virginia and Bob (Linda) Schibel of Pacific Palisades, CA; grandchildren: Stephen (Angela) Budd, Dan (Lisa), Jonathan (Dana), David (Jennifer) & Mike Schibel; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Samantha, Lauren, Max, Elly, Reese, JJ, Howard, Jaffiry, & Seth; numerous nieces and nephews; and Leo’s children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Howard Schibel and Leo Gross; brothers: Joe, Max, and Harry Rubenstein; and her dear sister: Edna Heilprin. 2010 Virginia St. Louis County Minnesota, USA Jeanne Schibel Gross, age 97 passed away in the home of
her son and daughter-in-law, with her family at her side. She was born August
25, 1912 in Gilbert, MN the daughter of Abraham and Tilly Rubenstein, the
youngest of five children. She grew up in Gilbert and attended Gilbert
Schools. She married Howard Schibel of Virginia. Jeanne and Howard worked
